Beverly has always thought that her current house on Gates was one of the best-looking houses in Twickenham. However, the home which was built in 1818 was in dire need of a makeover to fit the lifestyle of a modern-day family. She and her husband decided to take on this monumental Huntsville Alabama Historical Renovation to restore the home to its bygone glory and bring it to life with her personal style.

The Historical Style

The house on Gates was solid, with high ceilings, and large, beautifully proportioned rooms. The details were simple and elegant and lent an Art Deco feel. These details reflected the popularity of this style in the 1920s when the home had last been updated. Beverly felt that the rooms were warm and you could feel their sense of place in time. In addition, the home was full of amazing natural light which she feels is essential in a home.
