Description

The artist Jules Brouwers (1869–1955) was born in Gulpen, The Netherlands, and passed away in Vilvoorde, Belgium. She specialized in impressionist still lifes, working primarily with soft, delicate colors. In addition to painting, she was skilled as a draughtswoman and etcher. Brouwers studied under P.J. Gabriel in the Netherlands and continued her artistic training at the academies of Liège and Brussels.
